This manta ray pendant features an ethically sourced London blue topaz stone and is enameled by hand.
The ray is sawn from recycled silver sheet metal and then hand painted with glass enamel.
The glass enamel starts as a fine powder and is sifted in layers onto the silver base and fired at high temperatures in a kiln. The lines are then painted with a painting enamel that is also fired in a kiln. Each ring goes through at least 10 firings to achieve the desired look. Vitreous enamel is not affected by exposure to water or UV light, so the colors will last you for years to come.
The pendants come on a 17 inch/ 43 cm chain.
