This pendant features a gorgeous, ethically sourced winza sapphire.
The shell pendant is first carved from jewelers wax and cast with solid 18k yellow gold using the lost wax method. Then they are hand painted with glass enamel.
The glass enamel starts as a fine powder and is sifted in layers onto the silver base and fired at high temperatures in a kiln. The lines are then painted with a painting enamel that is also fired in a kiln. Each pendant goes through at least 10 firings to achieve the desired look. Vitreous enamel is not affected by exposure to water or UV light, so the colors will last you for years to come.
The pendant comes on a 17 inch/ 43 cm solid 18k gold chain.
